This small, but charming 3 bedroom 2 bath house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is within walking distance to the heart of downtown with all of the restaurants, parks, shopping, the Riverwalk recreational trail, historic sites, the Sounder commuter train, bus lines and more. The house retains her original vintage charm, but has been updated for your comfort. The entire house and large yard, except for a locked supply room downstairs. I am just a few miles away if you need anything, but I will also respect your privacy. We do have someone pick up the garbage from outside and mow the lawn at times. He will not contact you and he will not need access to the house. We are just blocks from shopping and dining downtown. You can walk to concerts in the park, farmer's markets, grocery stores and the fairgrounds. Since it is a residential area that is within walking distance to the core of downtown, at times you may hear distant trains, dogs barking, church bells, sirens, kids playing and other city and neighborhood noises. The sounder station is a quick walk away and a bus stop is at the end of the street. We provide enough toiletries, paper towels, laundry soap etc. to get you started. Larger groups or longer stays may need to purchase additional items. The house receives a thorough cleaning before you arrive. If you require additional cleaning service during your stay, we can give you contact information for local housekeeping services that we trust. They usually charge $200-$300 per visit. Please remember that we don't charge a cleaning fee and that we expect to have the house returned reasonably clean. Please take trash outside, wash any dishes that you have used and return anything that you have moved back to its original location. We have a Pack N Play portable crib.
