My two-bedroom unit is ideal for couples with children and business travelers. It has a fully equipped utility kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom with vanity. Common areas are a sitting/dining area, laundry/storage room and outside deck. The lower level has its own entrance and parking spaces and overlooks secluded woods to the back. The house is close to town, shops, amenities and five minutes from I5. Guests from all backgrounds are very welcome. The unit is ideal for long-term stays. Guests are entirely independent and private in the space but can socialize as much as they wish. The kitchen is ideal for most things but for more elaborate cooking there is a much larger kitchen on the main floor of the house. The downstairs has it's own private entrance or can be accessed through the house if necessary. The neighborhood is very quiet, and safety is not an issue, the location couldn't be any more convenient for shops and amenities. There is a comfortable sitting and dining area. The floor on which the unit is located has a private deck overlooking the woods. A laundry room is available for guests with an iron and drying facilities. I try my best to be here all the time, to be as helpful as I can for my guests and to treat them as family. I like to share meals with them when possible or go out for coffee. Park Hill Drive is an established neighborhood and adjoins several loops of houses making it perfect for early morning strolls. There is very little traffic because of only one access making it safe, quiet and secluded. The neighbors vary from young families to single occupancy and retirees. Most neighbors, including myself, have lived in this neighborhood for many years. Unfortunately there isn't public transportation coming up the hill to Park Hill Drive, but there are busses at the bottom of the hill and a good local bus service around town and to the Malls. (Three Rivers in Kelso, Triangle Mall and Fred Meyer) There is a train station in Kelso for Amtrak going North to Seattle and South to Portland and beyond. Also a bus station for long distance busses. There is a good wifi connection and desks available. There is plenty going on in Longview in terms of live performances and movie theatres. We have plenty of restaurants and nice coffee shops.
