The two-room apartment Gabbio, nestled in a large olive grove, is a quiet and safe place, with a splendid view of the lush valley of the Black River. The pool discovered in summer refreshes your days that you can spend at the Marmore Waterfall (9km), or take a walk to the nearby village of Ferentillo (1km) or by walking or biking the quiet driveway along the Nera River. The Gabbio apartment is comfortable and nice and is located on the ground floor with independent entrance and private garden equipped for outdoor dining. The living area has a kitchen equipped with pots, plates and cutlery, glasses, refrigerator, dining table with chairs and sofa bed. The bedroom has a double bed, closet, armchair and garden view. The bathroom has a large shower, bathroom (no bidet) and window. Beautiful view of the olive grove that surrounds the Santa Croce farmhouse and the view of Valnerina. Gabbio is one of the six accommodations of Casale Santa Croce, immersed in an olive grove in a panoramic position on the Valnerina. All apartments are independent and all equipped with a kitchen. In the area there are several and numerous dining opportunities with typical cuisine and the closest bar for breakfast is 100 meters away. Shared with the other guests of the Casale Santa Croce the pool, the barbecue area, the relaxation area with hammocks in the olive grove, the parking and the free wi-fi area. In the pool of Casale Santa Croce, guests of the Gabbio apartment will find an umbrella with deck chairs and sun loungers reserved for them. Adjacent to the Gabbio apartment, guests will be able to use the cozy barbecue area equipped with tables, chairs and large fireplace for all their meals, in the shade of walnut, olive trees and large oak trees. The guests of the farmhouse have a discount on the entrance ticket to the Marmore Waterfall, only 9 km away. Guest access Apartments Santa Croce are located within the Nera River Park, just 9 km from the Marmore Waterfall (our guests are entitled to a discount on the entrance ticket to the Marmore Waterfall). The farmhouse has convenient private parking available free of charge to all guests. If you love to take a few walks, from the apartments you can walk to the bar via private street where you can have breakfast or enjoy a good espresso. And you can always walk comfortably to the village of Ferentillo (1km) and there are groceries, pharmacy, bank, rafting and other essential amenities. From Ferentillo you can take the Greenway del Nera, a comfortable driveway that follows the course of the Nera River and allows you to walk or bike to the Marmore Waterfall (13km) or the ghost town of Umbriano (5km) or the beautiful Abbey San Pietro in Valle (8km). A trip is worth Lake Piediluco where you can take a boat ride overlooking the Echo Mountain. Every day from the Santa Croce farmhouse you can visit one of the medieval castles and small villages scattered throughout the Valnerina until you reach Norcia and the Castelluccio plain.
