Private Room in Family’s Home near Delft
Private Room in Family’s Home near Delft
Description
We live in this house and on the 2nd floor we have a private room available for guests. There’s a small shopping centre (groceries, drug store) at 5-10min walking distance. You can use our kitchen to make yourself dinner etc. We can also arrange breakfast for you (at the extra cost of €7,50 per person). There’s a bus stop at the end of the street. The bus can take you to down town Delft from where you can explore the rest of the country by train. We can give you tips and advice! The space Our house is a typical Dutch family house in a suburb of Delft. On the ground floor we have the kitchen, living room, 1st toilet and the back yard. On the 1st floor are our bedrooms, the 2nd toilet and the bathroom. On the 2nd floor is your private room with 2 balconies. There’s also our storage and laundry area, which we try not to use, when we have guests staying in the room. In case we need to use the laundry machines, we’ll always inform you, before entering your room. Guest access You’ll have your private room with access to 2 private balconies. One on the east side of the house to enjoy a tea/ coffee in the morning sun. One on the west side to enjoy the often beautiful sunset. You’ll share the common areas with only our family, such as the bathroom, toilets and kitchen. During your stay We’ll give our guests the freedom to explore the surroundings by themselves, but we’ll always be available for questions, tips or emergencies. Other things to note We have two kids, a daughter age 8 and a son age 6. They make typical kids noises and are usually up-and-running from 7:30am. They don’t know the difference between a weekday or Sunday morning. Also we tend to have them in bed around 8pm, so we like to keep the house quiet(er) after that time. If any of this bothers you, then we don’t advise you to stay with us. If this is not a problem for you, we’ll be happy to be your home away from home...
