Private located at our homestead in the small village of Paksuniemi, 6km from Jukkasjärvi. The cottage has views over the Torne river valley with access through our own courtyard facing south wich you can roam and stroll down to the private waterfront. Open space to easy walk and look at the nightsky with stars and aurora, without disturbing lightpollution. The quiet, secluded and open location gives access to walk or ski out on the frozen river on the skitrack or snowmobile track in winter. The space Two single beds wich can be put together as one big doublebed, and one bunkbed, sleeps totally 4 persons. The kitchenarea is equipped for cooking, and has cooking plates, electric heater for boilng water, fridge with a freezer. Drinking water is supplied on bowls with tap, witch can be filled up at host house if needed. The cabin is warmed up with electric element. If needed there are an open fireplace. The drytoilet is in an extern building next to the cottage. There are no toilet, bathroom or shower inside the cottage. A woodfired sauna by the lake can be booked separately to an extra fee, just ask for guidelines how to do it. We are always very happy to come with advice on where to go and discover the nearby nature or further away. The cottage have books, magazines and brocheurs about local known or less known places to visit on daytrips. You live close to the nature and this suits any one who likes to experience a calm atmosphere.
