Come relax and enjoy.👍🏻🥂🍻⛱🏝 The space The Port Douglas Oasis is my very unique tropical style two bedroom home ,it has a large private pool and outdoor entertainment with a barbecue area.A new outdoor deck and a gazebo has just been built. It looks like a place to just chill out and look at the pool and the house at a different angle. (URL HIDDEN) As you can see by my photos, my home is very unique ,full of character and (website hidden) is octagonal in shape with exposed timber beams ,meeting at the central column which forms a large skylight that highlights the first and last rays of sunshine. On entering through the front door,you will immediately feel the warmth and ambience of the spacious, open style, tropical home. You will feel like a local who has lived in Port Douglas forever. Relax and enjoy,this will be your home away from home wherever that may be. My home is ideally suited to those special couples wishing to relax and celebrate life.You can enjoy the privacy of a large sparking blue pool that adjoins the outdoor dining area and timber deck where you will be able to enjoy a quiet drink and a meal cooked on the barb-be-cue. The property is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and palms. The main bedroom has a warm peaceful ambience,it is tastefully decorated with Persian silk rugs on the slate floor,soft lighting,Queen size bed ,large wardrobe, TV with DVD player The en-suite bathroom which has just been totally renovated. My home is also a perfect base for up to two couples or two single persons wishing to explore the region. The second bedroom is a comfortable sized room ,tastefully decorated, it exudes a warm radiance that shows memorabilia of my extensive travels and artwork of ,there also interesting (URL HIDDEN) also has a spacious wardrobe ,Queen size bed and TV. The bathroom en-suite adjoins this bedroom by a sliding door so it also has complete privacy. Walking into the spacious brand new renovated kitchen (2022 )which now has drawers and new Kwila timber bench tops with new sink ,cooktop ,oven and fridge microwave and dishwasher. you will see that it is all part of the octagonal shape. Please always use breadboards when preparing brood etc. You will be able to look thru the kitchen serviary to the outdoor pool ,deck and gardens. You then see the spacious living area that opens up to the outdoor and undercover living area . The slate floors are covered with Persian rugs, the walls have many original paintings.There is a TV and DVD player with many DVD's for your use. There are air conditioners and fans for the warm summer months.Please ensure to switch air conditioners off when not needed or when you leave the house for the day. Immediately you will feel my home has been my pride and joy for many years. Port Douglas Oasis will suit those couples and families who will treat my home as their own for their special time in Port Douglas. You will be ideally situated within easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, reef tours and boutique shopping, and just a few minutes walk to the beach which is via the public access path through the Shereton Mirage. The guests will have full access to my home to be able to feel comfortable and relaxed The locked garage will have my personal belongings. The two Bedrooms each have an ensuite. The main bedroom ensuite has just been recently totally renovated and gives a feeling of spaciousness. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioners. The main bedroom also has a Smart TV. The washer and dryer are available in the laundry. To start the dryer you need to use your closed fist and give good bang on the handle. There is a comfortable bed sofa in the study with fan and air conditioner which is handy for a single adult or child. This now has bifold doors which gives privacy If possible I plan to greet my guests and show them around my home. If I am away I will be arranging a friend or family to make you feel welcome and let you know all the the places that the locals like. Otherwise I will let you know where the key is to let yourselves in. . GETTING AROUND. This neighbourhood is a good place to live,It is centrally located to the beach and town,you have the choice to walk, bike or use the car to get around Most people hire a small car at the airport ,but a shuttle bus is available to take you to Port which takes approx 80 minutes.Hire cars can be rented in Port. you may wish to rent a bike for the time you are here ,there are no hills so it is a great way to get around. there is a local bus that goes past approx every half hour. There is an access path to the beach via The Shereton Mirage that takes 5minutes. It is a leisurely 20 minute walk to the centre of town. There is a bottle shop,pizza and Chinese restaurant about 400 metres along Davidson Street. If you have time and feel like watering the inside and outdoor pot plants that would be appreciated. The pool will be maintained and checked by a Pool company The lawns and gardens will also be cared for every 2 weeks by a professional gardener.
