They pay rent in charm. 🌧 Rainy season = frogs performing very loud love songs at night. They’re persistent — consider it nature’s alarm clock. ------ 2. Dogs make you nervous Our village has territorial watchdogs. Barking is their cardio. Sometimes they bark at scooters moving too slowly. No attacks in 7 years — think of it as the authentic Balinese soundtrack. 🐕🎶 ------ 3. Scooters terrify you / you won’t hire Gojek/Grab Scooter = survival. Closest beach: 7 min. Seven more beaches: 10–20 min. Walking?
