The Pepper Tree

The Pepper Tree began life in 1910 as a residence for Yass’s horse mounted Police. 110 years later it is a modern three bedroom cottage set up for you to enjoy. The kitchen and living area open onto a large deck with unbroken views to the Yass river. The kitchen is equipped for entertaining, and the bedrooms are configurable for varied family compositions. Toys, games and books are provided. The space Our house is designed for your family. We have travelled all over the world staying in Airbnb’s and we have tried to apply what we have learnt. Most of our travel involves our kids and occasionally a pet. We have tried to make our home friendly for both. Your small dogs and cats are very welcome in the house. The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and large built-in wardrobes, the third bedroom has either two single beds, one of which can be reconfigured into either a king bed or two single beds (i.e. a total of 3 single beds or a king bed and 1 single). The living area includes a 50 inch smart television with Fetch, a DVD player and big selection of DVDs. NBN WIFI is provided. The kitchen is very well equipped but please let us know if you have a particular need, for example baking a birthday cake. The deck is immediately adjacent to the kitchen and has seating for eight, a view to the river and a BBQ. The house is heated by a wood fire, which is ducted through to the bedrooms and bathroom. There is also a very effective gas heater and electric blankets on all of the beds. The living area is air conditioned and all other rooms, and the deck, have ceiling fans. Our block is long, even though the formal garden is only a small part of it. The alpacas who live next door also have access to our lower paddock, which is separated from our garden by a dog proof fence. The house has a full size laundry with washing machine (no dryer).
