The B&B is located in our renovated 1800s house, in San Salvatore, just 4 km from the sea of Chiavari and Lavagna. The location is strategic, between Portofino and Sestri Levante, and close to the famous Cinque Terre and the medieval village of Fieschi. The property offers free WIFI and hosts our family, making it an ideal place for stays dedicated to wellness, beauty, and good living. It is a great starting point for excursions, with easy access to the highway 1.7 km away and convenient distances from Genoa (43 km), Pisa (1 hour), Florence (195 km), Milan (170 km), and Montecarlo/Nice (2.5 hours). The space THE ATMOSPHERE / THE MATERIALS Our B&B with the FLAVOR OF LIGURIA from the 1800s, opened in 2017, is enveloped in an atmosphere that an English guest has defined as "cozy" thanks to the large GARDEN and the OPEN SPACE GROUND FLOOR. This space features slate, exposed stone walls, wooden ceilings, and family orchids, and is complete with TV, fireplace, living room, dining room, and kitchen. THE ROOMS Upstairs, there is the panoramic TERRACE, the double BEDROOMS with parquet flooring and the private BATHROOMS outside the floor. One bathroom is next to the room, the other 5 meters down the corridor. They are equipped with towels and personal hygiene products made from botanical ingredients that respect human health and the environment. COLORS The pastel PINK color of the typical "Genoese-style" painted façade introduces the RED that stands out inside, where the cellars and the kitchen were formerly located, in contrast to the slate, "the BLACK GOLD of Liguria". On the first floor, the recurring color is BLUE, reminiscent of Grandpa's passions: the SEA, the FLOWERS and the SKY, which give the rooms their names. Guest access THE COMMON SPACES It will be a pleasure to share the garden, patio, living room and terrace with our guests, as well as the parking lot. The GATE The entrance to the villa is located along the road, next to the warehouses and greenhouses of the old headquarters of the family company, florists for five generations, now specialized in the cultivation of orchids, 250 meters before. THE CLIMB From the gate, a private road quickly climbs 200 meters to the Villa, offering immediate relief from the heat during the summer season and surprises such as the sight of deer and an infinite sea of fireflies. PLANT Aromatic and fruit plants offer delights in every season of the year: olives, figs, prickly pears, grapes, strawberries, loquats, cherries, black cherries, lemons, cedars, pomegranates, persimmons, rosemary and sage, while edible wild flowers and herbs become the protagonists of specific courses. All around, tall trees offer shaded areas during the summer, give a show of colors in autumn and attract beautiful migratory and resident birds from the nearby Entella Wildlife Oasis. OTHER PROPERTY The top floor and the back of the Villa are reserved for other properties. During your stay In the living room there is a well-stocked INFORMATION DESK for excursions, where it will be a pleasure to offer every useful detail to get to know and appreciate the coast, the hinterland, art, history, gastronomy, crafts and events of our territory. In addition, small secrets are shared for the cultivation of orchids, floral decoration and the use of nature to be BEAUTIFUL INSIDE, BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE & SURROUNDINGS. Other things to note BREAKFAST Italian breakfast is served to guests with the addition of typical local products such as Genoese focaccia, organic jam, tea, herbal teas and coffee. Protein, gluten-free, lactose-free breakfasts and variants are available upon request to meet different dietary needs. ORGANIC AND BIODYNAMIC PRODUCTS We are committed to taking care of our guests, who often become new friends, using products based on organic and biodynamic botanical components.
