Walk to the waterfront park, pier, bridge, restaurants, bars & shops in a 10 minute stroll. Take a 5 minute ride to Patriots Pt. Marina & golf, Yorktown ship, Shem Creek boardwalk, Old Village, & water ferry. 6 miles to Sullivans Isl beach. 3 blocks to rent a bike, or catch the 2$ bus to Charleston. The space My home is tucked in a quiet, safe, walkable, neighborhood, close to everything & at the tip of the beautiful 3 mile bridge to Charleston. You can see by the hundreds of reviews my guests enjoy the location, the space & their stay at Pleasant Place. I can give you all the local guidance you need. In the mornings you'll find decaf & regular coffee, tea & pastry in the kitchen at your convenience. The standard guest room has a comfortable queen bed, fast wifi, desk, streaming tv with tons of channels, ceiling fan, blackout drapes, white noise maker, robes, luggage racks, zippered pilllow covers plenty of storage for your clothes & everything else you might need. Ask if you want the beach chairs, umbrella, & cooler. The attached private bath is cute, but not ideal for for wide sizes. I do have a lovely Ragdoll breed of cat. They are known to be more hypoallergenic. With hundreds of guests to date, there has never been an issue. Book my place & you can feel right at home sharing the living room & kitchen space, patio area, pool & maybe even sit at the dock of the lake & hand feed our friendly turtles. It's all good. Feel free to designate some refrigerator space in the kitchen or cabinets & help yourself to a complimentary glass of wine or beer. I'm sure it's 5 oclock somewhere. During your stay I live on site. I'm available by phone or text anytime & will be in & out during your stay. You'll have all the privacy you want. I enjoy greeting my guests, when possible, to ensure you have everything you need & I'm happy to talk about your options on the local activities if you want. But it's your vacation & you are the guest, so please, have it your way. Other things to note This is a standard size upstairs room with a small bathroom. Plus sizes would prefer a larger shower. There will be a resident Ragdoll cat. They are generally known to be hypoalergenic. There is parking space for 2 standard vehicles on the right side of the drive. please no heavy RV's. My home is in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Guests must abide by town rules & please avoid disturbing myneighbors.
