The space The studio is located in a quiet neighborhood, 3 miles from the center of town. It is close to biking and hiking trails(half block). There is a bus stop, a park and public tennis courts a block away. The Museum of Northern AZ is less than 1/2 mile away. Snowbowl is 7 miles. Grand Canyon is 1 1/2 hrs away and Sedona a 45 minute drive. In the air conditioned studio bedroom is queen size bed as well as a sofa that makes into a small double bed with a 2" memory foam pad. The sofa bed sleeps one adult or two children comfortably. 2 smaller adults in a pinch. A flat screen TV with Netflix and an electric fireplace that sets a peaceful or romantic tone in the evening. Workspace for your computer and UBS power ports. Internet speed averages between 65-75 download 18-20 upload. The kitchenette area has microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee pot and electric kettle dishes and silverware, coffee, teas and hot cocoa to choose from. We provide a 1 1/2 gallon drink dispenser with reverse osmosis water for your drinking needs. Outside is your own covered patio facing a view of the peaks and where you can enjoy the Flagstaff night sky filled with stars. The patio is furnished and has a propane grill just for the guests. There is a grocery store 2 miles away. Across the street from the grocery store is a place that makes one of the best milk shakes in town. Just 1.5 miles up the road is one of the best pizza shops that also has gluten free pizzas. We have worked very hard to make the studio a warm and inviting space and to anticipated all of your needs. If you forgot your toothbrush or toothpaste? We have you covered. There are robes for you to wear. A sewing kit if you need a repair. And other necessaries you might need. Just look in the drawers of the vanity. If you are celebrating a special event, just let us know and we will try to do something special to acknowledge it. All are welcome in our home.. Guest access Guests have access to the studio, their patio on their side of the divider, the front yard and the half of the back yard on their side of the short fence. Other things to note Since the studio is attached to the main house, you may hear some noise even though we have added extra soundproofing and try very hard to be quiet. Parts of the year there is a small dog and sometimes a large dog or both. on the premises. Please make an extra effort that the gate is firmly closed behind you. The studio is not childproof and is not suitable for young children. Please be aware that if you are using a hair dryer, curling iron or other electric items in bathroom, only one appliance in the kitchenette can be used at the same time or breaker will shut off. There are security cameras on the outside of house. They are located on the driveway, the side path that leads to the studio entrance, and a camera on the private side of the back yard. There are no cameras inside the studio or when you are on your patio. Your privacy is guarantied
