Tholos Bay Villas, Crete

Two modern, high-spec, 2 double bedroom villas with panoramic sea and mountain views, air conditioning throughout, private pool with swim trainer, hot tub and large custom built BBQ. Set in Crete's exclusive east coast, they overlook Tholos bay and the stunning Thripti mountain olive groves. The space As a family we have known the island of Crete for some time but fell in love with the stunning views, beautiful sunsets and absolute privacy and tranquillity of Kavousi, which produces some of the purest olive oil in the world and is home to the oldest olive tree in Greece (at over 3000 years). Our property rests on the slopes of the foothills of the Thripti mountains, overlooking Tholos Bay. It is professionally managed and our fabulous managers will be on hand during the duration of your stay should you need them. The villas sleeps 8 people (4 in each villa). Each villa has 2 double rooms that can be set up as king-size or twin to suit your needs. Each room with air-conditioning or heating (seasonal) and French doors leading onto a patio area so you can head straight outside for breakfast. We provide a cot for infants. We built Tholos villas with families in mind and invite guests to make use of any all toys and games, children's DVD and pool inflatables which have been left for families to enjoy. For toddlers or younger infants, there are detachable child safety gates which can be fitted to the shaded pergola area in the upper villa (Upon request) so that children can play outside in the shade in safety whilst you relax. The benefit of having 2 villas will allow you to spend time with friends or family but also have your own personal space. In winter months you can book Villa Gioegina on it's own (which has a wood burning stove in the living room for the winter months) - knowing the other villa will remain empty for your stay. The pool is not in use between the months of November and May but the hot tub is available year round. All bed linen and towels, hair dryers, TV/DVD, iPod docking, is included. Midweek clean & cooked meals available upon request. Wifi can be pre-loaded with a credit card prior to arrival (although wifi is available everywhere!) Guest access The villas are rented together, so the whole property will be on hand for you to use and enjoy. Car hire essential as the villas are an hour east of Heraklion airport (we can happily recommend a car hire company). We will send you an info pack in advance which includes direction to the villas by road as well as useful hints and tips and recommendations for things todo and places to visit.
