Cabin in the Country

Stage your next adventure from this private, comfortable, and cozy cabin in the country. The cabin is on 5 acres, 40 minutes from Whistler-Blackcomb, 15 minutes from Pemberton and 5 minutes from Duffey Lake road. In the winter we recommend you have a 4WD vehicle and winter tires are mandatory to access the property. The space This is a self-contained 800 sq ft one-bedroom cottage made from a converted tractor barn. It is furnished with all the comforts of home, yet retains some of that original character. You will enjoy the wood stove, especially after exploring secluded trails right from your front door. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, blender, coffee maker, coffee grinder, dishes, and utensils. There is a full bathroom (tub, shower, sink, washer and dryer) as well as a separate powder room. The bedroom has lofted ceilings and a queen bed with a new medium-firm mattress. The living room has 14' lofted ceilings, a queen sofa bed, Apple TV, and a desk. The only sounds you might hear at night are the occasional hoots of the local owls, the crackle of the wood stove, or rain on the roof. There is no light pollution here so on clear nights the stargazing is incredible. Guest access The cabin and one other house share five acres. You will enjoy the entire cabin with deck, parking, and wooded trails right from your front door. Other things to note We offer WIFI, but it is on a "country" network and may be slower than you are used to. There is some cell service from the cabin.
