Welcome! Enjoy this private canal front property complete with sandy beach and spacious front yard. Relax by the fire or enjoy a meal on the provided picnic table. When the weather gets cooler, head into the large enclosed three season furnished front porch that overlooks the Portage Canal. The space This property is located four miles from the Houghton business strip on the Houghton Canal Road. It can sleep up to eight comfortably. Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy your coffee with beautiful views of the canal. After breakfast play a game of croquet or go for a refreshing swim. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house. Kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots, pans, toaster, silverware, coffee pot, and microwave, in addition to the stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Washer and dryer available for use on site. Sheets, blankets, pillows, towels are included. Other things to note The entire house is available for your use. We have parking for three cars in front of the garage, but the garage itself is not for use. We cannot accommodate snowmobile trailers on our property. The walkway located to the left of the garage is how you will access the home below. The road is private, so it’s plowed by the owners in the late afternoon. It’s best to have four wheel or all wheel drive vehicle in the winter.
