Beautifully designed with original artwork, warm textures and thoughtful details inspired by the island, Ashdale blends relaxed luxury with everything you need for an adventure-filled stay. Guests especially love returning from walks, bike rides, golf or sea swims to unwind in the wood-fired sauna beside the stream, followed by a cold plunge pool and cosy evening indoors. Upstairs you’ll find a king bedroom with ensuite, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs is a spacious open-plan living area with comfortable sofas, armchairs and dining space for long family dinners and slow evenings together. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for proper cooking, with dishwasher, Nespresso machine, sharp knives, quality cookware, generous crockery and plenty of glassware. Families love the games room with pool table, table tennis and table football, while outdoor guests appreciate the drying room, laundry facilities and undercover bike storage. Keep an eye out for the resident red squirrels visiting the garden feeders. Ashdale also includes excellent Wi-Fi, 5-star cleanliness, off-road parking and a single or double Outnabout off-road buggy available to borrow. We’re happy to provide a cot or high chair on request. One dog is welcome per cottage. Parking is available for 2 cars, with additional space if needed. Your stay includes all bed linen, towels, heating and electricity. Guest access Guests have the whole of Ashdale Cottage to themselves, including 3 bedrooms (king master with ensuite), 2 further bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, dining space, and cosy lounge. You’ll also have access to the shared gardens, woodlands, games room, laundry/drying room, and our large off-road car park, shared with our other two cottages (Rosa & Shurig). The wood-fired sauna and plunge pool are also shared, but there’s plenty of time for everyone to enjoy them. We’ll meet you on arrival with the keys and get you settled in. Other things to note Guests will have full use of our large games room which includes a pool table, full size table tennis table and table football. In addition there are toys and drawing stuff for the smaller guests. The garden, onto which the cottage opens via a decked patio, has picnic tables and is ideal for summer barbecues.
