THINGS TO DO: Swimming: After walking ten minutes from Barang village community homestay, you can get river Harpan khola (main source of pokhara lake). The water in the river is super clean. You can swim and have picnic there. Jungle Walk: At the upper part of the jungle there is a huge jungle. You can have a walk in the jungle easily. Red and White monkey, leopard, Asian black Bear, many butterflies and birds can found in the jungle. Sporting: In the village there is a volleyball play ground where every afternoon village boys use to play. They are happy to welcome you to play. Trekking: Barang Village Community Homestay is located very close to the splendid Panchase hill. Panchase hill is a very famous trekking destination in Nepal which is only 6 hr from Barang village community homestay. WARM AND AFFECTIONATE. TRADITIONAL AND TASTY : We serve locally and organically grown food. The foods we provide are highly nutritious and authentic that you might have never tasted. Dal Bhat: Dal Bhat is considered as Nepali National food. It comes with rice, lentil, vegetable, achar and chatni. Dindo: It is a very traditional food in Nepal. It is prepared by bringing hot water to a boil and adding flour while continuously stirring the mix. We make it from millet flour. Gundruk: Gundruk is a fermented leafy green vegetable. We make a Gundruk from Spinach and Cauliflower. It is served as a side dish or main meal. Raksi: It is a local wine. It is produced in most of the family in Hill and mountain region. Raksi is made from millet. How to reach: Barang Village Community Homestay is 15 km far from Lakeside (main tourist area), Pokhara. You can take a Local bus or Taxi from Hallan Chowk, lakeside to Ghatichina. Ghatichina. To drive in a local bus is take 1 hr and in a taxi is 40 min. From Ghatichina you need to walk 15 min up Hill, then, you will get Barang Village Community Homestay.
