Come visit us in one of the best parts of Western North Carolina! Our attached lower level guest apartment has its own entrance from your private deck with keypad entry. Inside is a large luxuriously furnished living area, with an under counter fridge/freezer a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker and kettle. Satellite TV and WiFi are provided. There’s a separate bedroom with queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Use your private apartment as a secluded getaway or as a base for your explorations! The space This is a well appointed lower level guest suite with private entrance You enter past your small private deck with teak table and 2 chairs and enter the large living room - which has a sofa, comfy chair and footstool, dining table with 2 chairs and a “kitchenette” that has an under counter fridge with small freezer, microwave and toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker and an electric kettle. Tea bags and coffee k-cups are supplied. There is no cooktop, range or running water in the kitchenette. There is a separate bedroom with door and a queen sized bed and has an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner and towels are supplied. Our property is 7-14 miles from restaurants and shopping. Dollar general is the closest store to us at 7.5 miles and Food Lion -13 miles, Ingles- 14 miles. Louise’s Rock House in Newland is the closest restaurant at 6.3 miles from our house. There are many restaurants in downtown Marion -about 13 miles from our property. We are centrally located with Lake James, Asheville, Black Mountain, Morganton, Blowing rock , Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Hendersonville all within 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive. Sugar and Beech Mountain skiing are within 45min to 1 hour drive. There are many hiking trails in the Pisgah National Forest nearby too. Guest access Guests will walk along our main deck to get to the stairs down to their private apartment. Our main deck has beautiful views of the mountains! Other things to note OUR HOME IS NOW LISTED FOR SALE! - but we will continue Airbnb until we get a contract. We will miss our beautiful mountain Paradise - but health issues require a change of location. Due to the geography of the mountains, only Verizon cell service works at our location. We now have continuous internet WiFi via Starlink and we’re happy to report it has great upload and download signal strength!
