Our home is a paradise for nature lovers, placed amidst 240 acres of apple/cherry orchards, with 270-degree unparallel views of Himalayan snow-capped mountains. A cozy stay with the option of delicious home-cooked meals and true Himachali hospitality. Our great-grandfather Satyanand Stokes started the 1st apple orchard of India here more than 100 yrs ago with 5 apple saplings gifted by his mother, revolutionising the economy of Himachal Pradesh. We are Truly Himalayan in Mission, Vision & Heart! The space This homestay is a completely wooden structure, offering a cozy and comfortable stay in a secluded location. From the comfort of your bedrooms and living room, you will have an amazing view of the mountains ringed with snow bracelets as well as the winding river Sutlej in one frame. The road leading to us is a delight in itself, with a breathtaking view of the encompassing flora that creates a vivid panorama. Grandma's is a place equally great for all. Its good for the elderly to relax, for artists to explore their creativity, for families to bond, for friends to enjoy, and for kids to simply discover nature's lap! It is well connected to the outer world yet aloof from its chaos. Lodgings: Purified water with Comfortable beddings We have rooms for Drivers/ Maids (750 Rs per night with meals or Complementary without meals) During winters, complimentary Electric blankets are provided. You can opt to rent electric heaters at 500 Rs per night per room Dining: Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink on the house! Freshly cooked sumptuous Breakfast meal is included in your stay All rooms are also provided with complementary Tea, Coffee, Milk and Sugar sachets. You have an option to add freshly home cooked Lunch, Tea/ Coffee or Dinner at following prices: 500 Rs per person per meal for Indian Veg Package 700 Rs per person per meal for Indian Non Veg Package 150 Rs per person for Tea/coffee Package (options include freshly made Tea/ Coffee with Butter Toast & Biscuits or Masala Maggi) Our menu is varied and delicious with locally sourced ingredients; this will surely be one of the highlights of your trip! A typical breakfast would include Eggs and Toast, Parantha or Chhole Puri A typical lunch or dinner would include 2 types of Indian curry, dal, rice and freshly prepared rotis.
