Bench Tor Apartment is situated within the grounds of Badgers Holt in beautiful Dartmeet, just a stones throw from the river Dart, which can be seen from the master bedroom. This is a perfect spot for walking & exploring Dartmoor. We have resident Peacocks, goats, rabbits and just outside the gate you can often find Dartmoor ponies aplenty. The space Your Dartmoor Hideaway Relax in your self-contained riverside apartment in the heart of Dartmoor. Enjoy privacy, stunning river and moor views, scenic walks from the doorstep, and peaceful evenings stargazing or BBQing in the gardens. Your hideaway is all yours, but we’re nearby if you need local tips or any assistance — just send a message or call. Guest access Guests will have access to Badgers Holt grounds and gardens - with gate out to the open Moorland with walks along the beautiful river dart and up to Par and Sharp Tor. The apartment is solely for guests use - each apartment has its own lockable door and are fully self-contained. A BBQ and fire pit is available for use should you require it please just ask us. Other things to note Outside the apartment are bins - we live is a beautiful area and aim to be enviomentally conscious so do encourage recycling and have separate bins for food waste, plastics, glass and cardboard
