Little River Cottage is a quaint high set 3 bedroom cottage on the Tweed River in the historic village of Tumbulgum. The perfect riverside retreat for escaping and relaxing whilst only being minutes away from beaches, boutique stores, world class restaurants, galleries and markets. Family and dog friendly. Luxe linen, beautiful eco shower products, wifi and Netflix/Stan/Prime. **PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept schoolies, bucks/hens parties The space The cottage is nestled on the banks of the Tweed River and is only a short stroll from charming village of Tumbulgum. The Little River Cottage is decorated with curiosities from around the world. We provide all guests with luxury linen, eco bath products and organic tea and coffee. The cottage is high set with rear entry via a staircase. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, two verandas, an outdoor hot shower, spacious fully enclosed yard, 2 double kayaks, Webber BBQ, aircon in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, unlimited NBN wifi, netflix and undercover parking for your car and boat. Please note - the house is a high set cottage and has a slight sway (when people walk heavy footed or run around). The master room has a king size bed. There is also a queen bedroom and twin room. Tumbulgum village has beautiful views of the Tweed River and Mt Warning/Wollumbin. The village is popular with water skiers, fisherman and boaties and has a public wharf and boat ramp. The Mt Warning River Cruise also departs from the village. Take advantage of the ample picnic and BBQ spots along the banks of the river. Stroll along the heritage shop fronts, visit the local gallery, stop into House of Gabriel or the Blonde Baker cart for coffee or brunch, or visit the Tumbulgum Tavern which is under new management. Only 20 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport, 15 minutes to beautiful beaches and 35 minutes to Byron Bay.
