The Kennedy room is a bright, spacious comfortable room on the first floor of Lochinver Guest House with a large south facing window overlooking the courtyard to the back of the house, and an en-suite with shower. The comfortable bed is a king-size double. The room is furnished in solid antique pine to compliment the blue tones of the fabrics and walls. The space Lochinver Guest House is a beautiful Victorian town house situated on one of Ayr's most beautiful streets, close to all town amenities. Guests may use the beautiful Drawing room to relax in. You can also enjoy afternoon tea here (by advance booking only - contact us in advance of your arrival for information). There is a wide range of books here for you to enjoy and borrow if you wish, and there is also a selection of board games. Please note we have the following rooms available and can accommodate up to 13 people in total at Lochinver Guest House: The Bruce Room (Kingsize double for 2) The Kennedy Room (Kingsize double for 2) The Cunningham Room (4-poster Kingsize double for 2) The Cathcart room (standard/compact double for 2) The Montgomery Room (either superking double or twin single beds for 2) The Wallace Room (twin single beds for 2) The Hunter Room (compact double bed for 1) Please see each separate room listing for prices of each room and to book. Breakfast is served in our beautiful dining room daily between 8am and 9am weekdays and from 8am to 9.30am at weekends. Other things to note Our luxury breakfast is included in your room rate and is served daily in the bright and relaxing breakfast room between 8am and 9am weekdays and from 8am to 9.30am at weekends. Golf packages or other activities in the area can be arranged and we can advise on a range of places of interest to visit in the area including the Robert Burns birthplace museum and cottage and the magnificent Culzean Castle or Dumfries House.
