Description
Ross Farm Dairy is a calm and expansive retreat, designed around a central courtyard that frames views over the lawn and rolling hills of the Tarwin Valley. Once a working dairy, the space has been reimagined with charred timber, raw concrete, and warm interiors, creating a place that feels both grounded and open. Designed for families, friends, or small groups, the Dairy offers a balance of connection and solitude, with generous communal spaces and quiet corners to retreat. The space The Dairy is designed for flow, with spaces wrapping around the central courtyard, allowing light and air to move through the home. The layout embraces the surrounding landscape, with wide openings drawing in views that stretch beyond the lawn to the rolling Tarwin Valley hills. At the heart of the space is the kitchen and dining area, a place to gather for slow meals and shared moments. The living area is expansive yet intimate, warmed by a wood fire and softened by layers of natural textures. The bedrooms offer a quiet retreat, designed with a sense of ease and simplicity. The handcrafted bathroom features a round concrete bath, a place to pause, unwind, and take in the stillness of the space. Step outside into the private courtyard, where shifting light and open air create a natural extension of the home.
