Glossop is home of a gallery of Australian Aboriginal art. Situated between Berri and Barmera, the Glossop Motel is the ideal location to base yourself as you explore the Riverland region. The town was named after Vice Admiral J.C. Glossop, Commander of HMAS Sydney that sank the German raider Emden during World War I. An anchor situated out the front of the motel is a memorial to this commander. Please note that you will be provided with individual ensuite room not the entire place.
