Available for rentals of two or more nights in off-season, four or more nights in summer months The space This vacation cottage is a "Cypress Cottage" 2012 constructed 1,100 square foot designer decorated cottage. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, one king and one queen as well as a king size tempur-pedic bed in the enclosed upstairs bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a two person air-jet soaker tub. With the queen size sofa bed in the living room, this cottage will accommodate up to eight people with plenty of room for friends and family to rest and relax in comfort. There is also a playpen for the little ones. The kitchen is a dream kitchen for the chef in the family, including dishes, pots and pans, glassware, chef’s knives, steak knives, cutting board, cookie sheets, roasting pan, serving platter, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, toaster, coffee maker, blender and a kettle. The full size bottom freezer refrigerator is equipped with a cold filtered water and ice dispenser. There is also a glass-top stove, a microwave and a dishwasher. The high end finishes in this cottage are endless – beach inspired artwork throughout, quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms with tile backsplash, dark stained maple shaker style cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms with in-floor heating, laminate wood flooring in the living room/dining area, wall to wall carpet in the bedrooms, a wood wrought iron staircase and a vaulted pine ceiling. The dining room table seats six people and there are three stools at the kitchen eating bar. There is plenty of room for dining, playing board games or planning your day’s activities in the Parksville area. The large open concept great room has a sofa bed, 47 inch flat screen HD television with Blu-ray player and a surround sound home theater system. Off of the living room is the very private, fenced deck. With no neighbors directly behind the cottage you will have complete privacy to enjoy the wonderful warm weather in the summer or the mild temperature during the rest of the year. For your pleasure on the back deck there is a patio table, 6 chairs, 2 loungers and a barbecue with a set of BBQ tools. On the front deck there are 2 chairs and a small table where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The upstairs enclosed king bedroom has a 42 inch flat screen HD television. The main floor king bedroom also has a 42 inch flat screen HD television. Throughout the cottage there is high speed wireless internet access. For your viewing pleasure all 3 televisions in the cottage have basic Shaw cable and AppleTV’s. During the summer, the ceiling fan and 3 large stand-up fans will keep you cool and comfortable. During the winter, the beautiful ledge-stone tile surround fireplace will keep you warm and cozy. The bathroom on the main floor has a tub with a shower and glass doors. Freshly laundered sheets and towels are supplied. For your convenience there is front loading stackable washer and dryer for your use in the cottage. We ask you to bring your own beach towels for adventures to the beach or to the recreation building that has an indoor pool, hot tub and exercise room. Guest access Guests access the whole cottage.
