The stunning country retreat, set on two acres, sleeps 8 adults, with 3 double bedrooms and a separate studio bedroom. Bask in light-filled, north-facing windows, facing Mt Riddle & close to Main street, Healesville Sanctuary, wineries & walking/ trails. You’ll feel relaxed and inspired, from the moment you arrive! The space The house is set in a picturesque private garden with a circular driveway and ample parking. On your way to the property, you'll enjoy the drive through wineries, orchids and farmland via the melba highway, an hour from Melbourne CBD. DESIGN This is not your typical holiday rental, It's an architectural house, designed & built 1968. The house was fully renovated 2020, with all the luxurious comforts, while respecting the oil incredible bones and heritage of the property. The kitchen is fully equipped with Miele appliances, Dishwasher, Kitchen Aid, Soda Stream, Air Fryer, Pots & Pans, trays for baking and glassware for wine & cocktails. COMFORT The house has been fully updated with underfloor heating, air-con/ heaters in every room, WIFI, new appliances, new bathrooms, sheer curtains and fully furnished by Zuster furniture. The property has an amazing outlook, with breathtaking views across the valley towards Mount Riddle. ROOMS The original layout of the home has been maintained, with a focus on family & socialising- cocktail in hand. The home has a very cosy, yet luxurious feel, reminiscent of the 70s when family, socialising, and a more simple life was achieved. There is a large living/ cocktail room with comfortable olive green velvet seating and marble finishes. As the focus is on relaxing & escaping, this room is also equipped with phone chargers & a 65 inch smart TV for when you want to take things slow. FOUR BEDROOMS The four bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning/ heating, underfloor heating over winter, sheer curtains, block out blinds- operated by remote control, luxurious 100% Flax Linen by Bedtreads and designer furniture by Zuster. ONE- ‘The Olive Martini’ master room, has a Queen Bed, his & her wardrobes and an ensuite. The room faces the view of the cactus front garden. TWO- ‘The Whiskey Sour’ bedroom, has a Queen Bed & built-in wardrobes. The room faces the side cactus garden. THREE- ‘The Pink Flamingo’ bedroom, has a Double Bed and built-in wardrobes, facing North, the back garden & Mt Riddle. Bedroom two & three share the Olive bathroom, with double basin vanity and double head shower. FOUR- ‘The Pina Colada’ Studio bedroom is an open planned, separate, self-contained studio, complete with kitchen, bathroom, lounge, armchairs & 65 inch smart TV. The room has a separate entrance. Sleeping includes a Queen size bed, single bunk beds-suitable for children, and a single bed. The room is open-plan with three beds, kitchen & lounge in one room and ensuite bathroom. This room is suitable for a family of parents+ three children. LAUNDRY The laundry is equipped with a new Miele washing machine, washing trough, clothes hanging rack, ironing board, iron and additional sheets and towels. Guest access The property has a large area at the front and a circular driveway with ample parking. Other things to note BOOK WINERIES & RESTAURANTS The Yarra Valley has grown in popularity recently. There are some amazing wineries, restaurants, distilleries and attractions. It is important to plan your stay and BOOK dinner, wine tastings, the Gin Distillery, prior to your stay to avoid disappointment.
