The space This house was built by Shalva's grandparents. It is lovingly decorated with traditional Svan wood-carving elements by Shalva himself. In addition, Shalva is Candidate Master of Sports in mountain skiing and climbing. His wife Nargiza is a folk culture expert and the director of the local Culture Centre. Their grown-up children help them manage the guest-house: the daughters help to cook delicious meals, and the son holds a certificate in guiding and organizes alpinist and jeep-tours around Georgia. Everyone speaks English, Russian and Hebrew. So the family is in a great position to help you explore Svaneti, whatever your interests are! Culinary master-classes and folklore stories from Nargiza, wood-carving and felting lessons from Shalva, all and any assistance with organizing your stay in Svaneti. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the garden, the terraces, the living-rooms and the guest kitchens/laundries. We provide a parking space in the inner yard, and there's a safe parking space outside the house also. During your stay We will do our best to help you with any issues. Also, if you are planning trips around Svaneti, we offer special prices for taking you around and to the starting points of your treks or to the ski-lifts.
