Our studio apartment in a classic DC rowhouse is 2 blocks from Metro (NoMa station on Red Line) & an easy walk to the Capitol & monuments. Union Market & REI's DC flagship are only 1 block away as well. Includes kitchen, coffee, tv/internet, washer/dryer, & more. The space Our classic Capitol Hill rowhome was built in 1923, and still has original brickwork and trim throughout. The basement apartment, however, is brand new with all new high-end ceramic floors, granite countertops and window sills, and a sleek modern kitchen. It comfortably sleeps two adults. We don't live in this apartment. It's completely dedicated for guests and so we don't have any clothing or other personal items anywhere. The closet & refrigerator are completely available and clear (except for an iron, spare linens, coffee, and tea). We're only two blocks from the NoMa-Gallaudet station of the Red Line of the Metro, only one stop from Union Station (or just an eight block walk). There several Capitol Bikeshare rental stations within 1-3 blocks, and Starbucks, Trader Joe's, and more a block away. It's also only a few blocks to Union Market (a high end food market area) or the dozens of bars/restaurants of H Street NE. Guest access The apartment is accessed from the rear alley and is controlled by a keypad entry system so no keys are required and check-in is very flexible. We will provide you with a password for WiFi, and the TV has cable and Roku. There is no smoking or pets allowed. Other things to note There are no steps required to access the apartment, and we have had previous guests who used wheelchairs, but a wheelchair cannot turn around in the bathroom.
