La Grange de la Source: authenticity & simplicity!

Located on the first floor of a barn, this accommodation with a simple and rustic layout is suitable for 2 to 3 people but can accommodate a larger number under certain conditions (possibility of installing tents near the barn). La Grange de La Source is ideal for hikers, cyclists, riders but also for couples or friends who simply want to go green, away from the superfluous, screens, hustle and bustle, stress. In short, total disconnection assured! The space La Grange de La Source consists of a mini kitchenette with fridge, a small seating area and a sleeping area (1 double bed 1m40 + 1 single bed 90cm, sheets provided). The wooden frame has remained exposed, which gives charm to the place and the wood burner is the only mode of heating. As may be the case regularly in April and even in May, mornings may be cool if you don't know how to light a fire...:-) Matches and wood provided. The space dedicated to sanitary facilities - separate from the accommodation but on the same level as it - has 2 showers and 3 toilets. These facilities are to be shared with campers at our farm campsite (6 pitches). It is therefore possible that other visitors will access this space, but in any case, 1 shower and 1 toilet will be strictly reserved for you. You will benefit from hot water but be careful, the space is not insulated and not heated. Bath linens are not provided. Finally, since the floor is made of raw materials, consider - for your comfort - to take slippers or small indoor shoes;-) You will also enjoy an outdoor area with stone coffee table, wooden studs and barbecue. So see this place as an improved bivouac: amenities are minimalist but will ensure you get back to the roots while giving you space, the comforts of a hard bed, and basic amenities! Enough to allow you to travel lighter... La Grange is available for rental from April to October inclusive. Other periods can possibly be opened in winter if the temperatures are pleasant but the accommodation is not intended to guarantee a pleasant stay during heavy frosts. La Grange de La Source is located in a cul-de-sac, overlooking the fields, the woods, and, occasionally, some campers. Many nearby walks: forest paths, marked walk and Extratrail 1km away. The RAVel and bus stops are also 1 km away, allowing you to reach Malmedy (many shops, restaurants, cinema, outdoor pool, ... ) and/or Stavelot in a quick and secure way (15 min. by bike). The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is 1 km away. It is possible that certain days (we have the right season, in particular), events are organized there. Depending on the direction of the wind, you may hear the noise of the engines at certain times of the day (no shopping at night except the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps). Nearest train stations: Trois-Ponts, Spa and Verviers, all three served by bus lines (direct lines). Possibility to provide a meadow or boxes for the horses/donkeys that accompany you (reservation in advance). Dogs (quiet...) are also welcome but we ask that they do not climb on the chairs/beds/armchair!
