Two Bedroom Furnished Knotty Pine Cottage on Lake Michigan. Private Beach with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan! Regular Rate $175 per night. 3 night minimum Summer Rates $225 per night. May 29-September 11 7 night minimum Check In: after 4:00PM Check Out: before 11:00AM The space May 29 - September 11 rentals are Saturday-Saturday. Extra precautions are taken to clean & sanitize cottage interior. CLEANING POLICY: If Guests choose to leave cottage in same Clean Condition it was in upon their arrival, there will be no cleaning fee charged. This will be discussed with each guests before check in. We provide cleaning supplies. Cleaning Fee of $75 will be charged if cottage not left in same clean condition it was in upon arrival. ITEMS TO BRING: Full Size Sheet sets, Towels for Shower and Bathroom Essentials. CHECK-IN: After 4:00 PM CHECK-OUT: Before 11:00 AM KITCHEN - Electric Stove/Oven, Refrigerator, Microwave, Mr. Coffee and Toaster. Fully stocked kitchen for preparing and serving meals. LIVING ROOM - Sofa, Loveseat, Rocker/Recliner, Cable TV, DVD Player & Wireless Wi-Fi. BEDROOMS - NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN FULL SIZE SHEET SETS Items Provided: full size mattress pads, bedspreads, blankets and 4 pillows with pillow covers. BATHROOM - Shower Stall (no tub) NEED PROVIDE YOUR OWN TOWELS & PERSONAL ESSENTIALS Items Provided: hand towels provided for bathroom and kitchen. OUTSIDE - Weber Gas Grill & Weber charcoal grill (need to provide own charcoal) Picnic table in yard. There are 4 Chairs and 2 side tables on the 8x10 upper deck overlooking Lake Michigan. At bottom of stairs on the 6x16 lower deck there are 2 chairs and a side table. GOLFING - PUBLIC BEACHS - PIERS - HIKING TRAILS - CASINO - We have many magazines, pamphlets and trail maps for Manistee and surrounding areas with places to visit and hike. Manistee has several wonderful area Golf Courses. The Riverwalk in Manistee is a great place to take a walk and shop downtown Manistee. There are three public beaches in Manistee. They are First Street Beach and Fifth Avenue Beach on Lake Michigan, which both have piers to enjoy a leisure walk. Also there is Man Made Lake that has very nice beach near Fifth Avenue Beach area. Are you a Gambler? Little River Casino is located at US-31 & M-22 in Manistee. Try your luck or see one of their shows which offer a variety of entertainers. The Little River also has several great restaurants to enjoy. DURING THE SUMMERTIME: “Concert in the Park” at Onekama Village Park, offers concerts on Monday evenings at 7pm. “Shoreline Showcase” concerts at Douglas Park at First Street Beach Tuesday evenings at 7pm. “Roots on the River” on Veterans Drive in Manistee has concerts at 7pm on Thursday evenings. Also from 9am-Noon, “Homegrown Saturdays” in Downtown Manistee at the Farmers Market, located on St. Mary’s Parkway. Live music at the farmers market throughout the summer. There are many places nearby to rent Canoes, Kayaks Paddle Boards or go Tubing down several rivers. Manistee has many trails for hiking & biking. DURING THE WINTER: CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN is located in Thompsonville. It is 30 miles from the cottage. Crystal offers downhill skiing & crosscountry skiing during the winter season. Check out their website for many warm season activities too. CABERFAE PEAKS is located in Cadillac and is 48 miles from cottage. Caberfae offers downhill & crosscountry skiing. Check their website for warm weather activities. BIG M CROSSCOUNTRY SKI AREA is also only 30 miles from the Cottage, in the heart of Manistee National Forest near Wellston, MI. They have Crosscountry/Snowshoeing Trails. During the warmer season the Trails can also be used for Mountain Biking. Check their website for details.
