Secret Patio of Scize | 24/7 Self Check-in

The apartment (45m²+ private patio) is located on the banks of the Saône, a 5-minute walk from the historic old Lyon district. Located on the 1st floor (no elevator), hillside of an old building on the bank of the Saône river, the building corridor is a little rustic (17th century). The apartment has been fully redesigned, keeping its authenticity. I made it my refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of Lyon. However, this place is not to everyone’s taste 😊. I describe later the pros & cons. The space Welcome to my home! I wished this place particular, a place where I could find "shelter" although being just few steps from the old town. Let's describe the positive and negative points ! You will enter a quite old building (17th century, this is the Old Town neighborhood). The building entrance can be daunting at first! Then you will have to go upstairs to the first floor via the spiral staircase (quite typical in this area). Now you have survived the "Old Town test", you can enter and enjoy the apartment (24/7 self check-in - a personal code valid for the duration of your stay is provided). After a long day trip in town, the living area with its decorative fire place (ethanol) will provide you some relaxing time with a comfy sofa, an high-end TV audio system (large screen & multiple channels, Bose soundbar), a portable loudspeaker (Oslo, Vifa) & a Play Station 4 (games included). You'll find a digital piano and an electric guitar but please spare a thought for my neighbours' ears. :) The fully equipped modern kitchen (oven, dishwasher, bar, kettle, teapot, coffee machine and toaster) will accompany you for the preparation of your favorite meal (if you decide otherwise get in town and try out a “Bouchon Lyonnais”!). The “country” and “atypical” patio of 18 sq. is ideal to have a breakfast outside in a private and quiet place. Please help yourself to coffee (free Nespresso capsules), tea or other commodities available. A "participatory" bar, type airline line trolley design, is at your disposal upon request (the ice maker machine might be of use here). When fatigue begins to set, a very comfortable bed (160x200) in the bedroom with an adjoining bathroom will help you fall into a deep R.E.M. sleep. Morpheus is going to be jealous! To ensure your comfort, bed linens, towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer, iron, as well as a washer-dryer combo (free, inside the apartment) are provided. Please refile with ethanol fireplace if you have used this product. Negative points are as follows: - The "gloomy" building entrance and the corridor that is a little dark; - There’s no microwave (it is a personal choice); - The dryer (washer-dryer combo), although an high-end product, accepts a small load, otherwise it needs time...; - There’s no view on the river and no direct sunlight (hillside - this is why it is very quiet); - No free parking on the premises but paid parking in front of the building (free during national holidays and during night). - The boilers is 100L (for 2 people), please just be careful with the very long shower :) Voilà, PC Guest access The apartment is fully reserved for guests. Other things to note Please respect the no smoking (allowed on the patio) and no pets allowed rules. I really live there from time to time.
