Visitors will be close to historical sites, museums, galleries, shops, traditional tavernas and a variety of international restaurants. The space The apartment is 80 square meters and consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a small sitting room, a kitchen and bathroom. It's on the ground floor 7 steps up from street level. The area of Plaka is a popular destination for those visiting Athens. Located only minutes from a wide choice of historical monuments, shops and restaurants. Syntagma Square and the metro are a 7 min walk, as is the Parliament and the National Gardens. The Acropolis museum and Monastiraki are a 10 min walk. The airport is a 30 min ride on the metro. Guest access Whole apartment. Other things to note Note: There is a new (climate) tax that the Greek government is enforcing on short term rentals. From November - March the tax is 2 euros per night, and April - October it is 8 euros. Since it is not possible yet on Airbnb to have two different tax values, I have installed the 8 euro tax for the whole year, but will be returning 6 euros per night to bookings made since 1/1/25 during the period of November - March. The room with the two single beds is on the side of the street and since the windows are single pane with wooden frame, sounds come in from the street bellow, luckily it is a pedestrian street so there aren't any car noises.
