"Le Soleil Couchant" Eco-Friendly Studio

This accommodation, where greenery and calm reign, is intended for people who attach great importance to Ecology and Sustainable Development. The space It's a mini studio with a cocooning atmosphere. In this 10 m² mini studio, "everything is mini, intimate and pleasant": an 8 m² mini bedroom with a bed (140 cm wide x 190 cm long) equipped with a mosquito net (this was not the case when the photo was taken); a 1 m² mini bathroom (toilet, sink, shower with hot water); a 1 m² mini kitchenette for doing a little dishwashing; small fridge; small table + chair for teleworking (the "Fiber" gives a very good Internet connection of more than 20 Mbps). Below the bed there is room for several suitcases. This small studio is made for one person. However, two people can stay there: people who like a cocooning and intimate atmosphere and who agree to adapt to this very small space. The studio is located on the first floor of the "Château de Sable", opposite the flower terrace. The flower terrace is the favorite place of the Studio tenant... and also of the birds. The 3 windows are equipped with a mosquito net and provide good ventilation and aeration of the studio. They also allow you to... enjoy the joy of being awakened in the morning by THE SONG OF THE BIRDS. There is also access to a small kitchen which is on the flowered terrace. This kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with several burners (but not an oven), a 2-tray sink and a work table (which is in front of a window overlooking the flowered terrace). The kitchen is sometimes shared with the guest of Studio Le Soleil Levant. Guest access The flowered terrace is a really nice place: you sit at the large and beautiful table, to eat, read, answer emails... Other things to note 1. The CANACLA allows for proper hand washing... with very little water 2. The WATER FILTER The water filter allows you to drink VERY good quality water, while avoiding buying bottled water. 3. the ECO-FRIENDLY TOILET the toilet has been modified into an eco-friendly toilet. This modification saves several dozen liters of water per day. 4. The property has a water meter and an electricity meter, which allows consumption to be measured. 5. the accommodation is cleaned once a week by our trusted housekeeper (in the presence or absence of the guest, according to their preference). This is also an opportunity to change sheets/pillowcases/bath towels and kitchen towels. 6. The bed is equipped with a bed net. This mosquito net is gray in color. This gives the impression of "being dirty". This is not the case! The mosquito net is washed just before your arrival! NOTE REGARDING THE SOLEIL COUCHANT/LE SOLEIL LEVANT STUDIO The Rising Sun Studio and the Setting Sun Studio are almost identical. The main difference is that the window of the bedroom of the Studio le Soleil Levant is facing east (for the Studio le Soleil Couchant, it is facing west). NOTES ON AMENITIES: *AIR-CONDITIONING: The presence of 3 windows allows good ventilation of the studio. Sometimes natural ventilation is not enough: green air conditioning (FANS) is added. * BASIC PRODUCTS: - bath towel (1 per tenant) + pillowcases + sheets are provided and replaced once a week - toilet soap: on arrival, the tenant will find a small bar of toilet soap in the bathroom. For the rest of their stay, the tenant will buy the soap of their choice. - dishwashing soap: the tenant buys it - toilet paper: on arrival, the tenant will find a roll of toilet paper. Then, the tenant will buy the toilet paper of their choice. * WASHING MACHINE/DRYER: the studio is not equipped with these appliances, but a laundry service is provided. It is a good quality service and at a good price (about 1.5 euro per kilogram of laundry).
