Pencil Creek Cottage No 3, Mapleton, Queensland

Hi! We have 3 fabulous cottages located in Mapleton, on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. They are fully contained having a comprehensively equipped kitchen, private deck, smart tv, log fire, aircon, spa bath, bbq on request and a beautiful four-poster bed draped with a mosquito net. Cottage 1 has wheelchair access (there are no steps). Cottage 2 is mid-way down the property and has a view of the dam. Cottage 3 is the closest to the creek. We look forward to hosting you! The space We are approximately 90 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD, so you can escape the congestion, noise and demands of the city without too much effort to enjoy what the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. We have a main house with reception at the top of the property as you enter. The cottages are down a small road and have complete privacy. The creek (Pencil Creek) is at at the bottom of the property and has easy access. All in all, the property covers approximately 12 acres. We have a small buggy if required. The terrain falls gently down to the creek. Guest access Guests can access most parts of the 12 acres. A visit down to the creek is recommended, perhaps to read a book or have a picnic. Whilst we do not provide a laundry service as such, we are more than happy for you to use our facilities by reception. If you were wanting a BBQ, please let us know and we will set one up for you on your deck. Not too far away there are many wonderful hiking/walking trails. Mapleton Falls offers a scenic walk that is not too challenging, also there are a few trails closer to Mapleton centre that are worthy of investigation. Kondalilla Falls is a great spot, and a dip in the water on a hot day is tempting! If you are a cyclist, Phil will be happy to recommend cycling routes in the area depending on fitness level and riding expertise. We have undercover cycling racks if you wish to use them. Other things to note We are currently working on providing unencumbered wifi connection. We hope to have this situation resolved shortly. Also, please let us know beforehand if you are planning a function (wedding, birthday celebration, etc).
