The Potting Shed is a light, homely space, cleverly and beautifully designed, with a luxury bed to rest in after a day walking on the moor or at the beach. A peaceful, private hideaway, which is accessible, with underfloor heating, wood burning stove and skylights. Open 2 sets of bi-folding doors to let fresh country breezes circulate. Wander out to a split-level garden for a spot of sunshine. There are plenty of spaces to relax inside and out, with patios to the side and rear, a back garden and the handcrafted bat palace to sit in whatever the weather or evening time with a fire. The Potting Shed and studio building in our garden on the edge of the National Park in the unique town of Ashburton. The Potting Shed overlooks Place woods and is a secluded eco space designed and built by us with thermostatically controlled underfloor heating, powered by an air source heat pump and Morso wood burning stove. In the summer, open both bifold doors to experience birdsong and take in the beautiful green canvas of trees ahead of you. We have created a light, homely space with design classics and luxury bed to rest after a day walking on the moor or at the beach. There are plenty of spaces to relax inside and out, with patio spaces to the side and rear of the property, a back garden and behind the handcrafted bat palace. Pick your time and your spot to hang out and enjoy the BBQ /firepit. There is plenty of parking on the lane however there is a dedicated parking space for guest at the property. We are close to a local school which also runs a sports centre (Ashmoor Centre), where guests can book tennis courts, attend exercise classes and a gym after 3.30pm in term times and all day at the weekends and during school holidays. There may be some ambient noise in the distance from the school during term time. The main entrance leads into the open plan living space containing the full-size kitchen (hob, fan oven, microwave and kitchenware; crockery, glasses, pans, bakeware for your use in the Potting Shed. If there are any additional items you need, such as blenders or processors please just ask. There is a extending dining table with chairs and sitting room area with wood burning stove, Freeview television, speakers and DVD player. The bathroom is a wet room for step free showering and a bath to relax in along with WC and sink. The bedroom has a king size four poster bed, Freeview TV, chest of drawers, hanging rail and chair. All the cleaning products in the Potting Shed are eco friendly. Guest access Once you pass the gateway to the Potting Shed, its patios and garden are all yours to enjoy.
