Private River Cabin With Water Access

Beautiful Rustic River Cabin, recently remodeled with guest entertainment and relaxation in mind! Wake up and have breakfast with views of the River and Wildlife, go explore the 10 acres and reconnect with nature, then grab the whole crew and head down to your own private river access. Whether you like to fish, kayak or just lounge in the water, the property features relaxation for all. End your day by grilling, playing some horseshoes or relaxing around the outdoor fire pit. It's a Perfect Day! The cabin is comprised of the original 100+ year old main cabin area which houses a bathroom, living room and kitchen/dining. There is one step up into the bedroom quarters which houses the laundry room, a master bedroom with bath, and 3 guest bedrooms. (2 of the bedrooms are up stairs on a second story.) There are a couple steps to enter the back door or the side door of the cabin so keep that in mind if you have someone in your group that cannot do stairs. Guests have access to the whole 10 acres of property as well as the whole cabin. However, There is a shop located on property that is not accessible to guests. Some outdoor Entertainment provided is: various Yard Games like horseshoes, corn hole, Frisbee, soccer balls, footballs etc... There's also A Fire Pit, lawn chairs and an outdoor Grill. Feel free to bring some hammocks or extra lawn chairs. The yard is pretty big it wouldn't been unheard of to bring a volleyball or badminton net. We feel that the cabin will most likely be viewed as a get away from society, so no-one plans to bother any guest that is staying at the property. An owner lives an hour away in case of a property problem. Being on the Illinois River there is potential on a nice day of floaters, kayaks, and fishermen passing by the cabin. The cabin is on the lower part of the Illinois River, so the main crowd of floaters will not pass by cabin as they mainly float the middle to northern section of the River. The River is patrolled by GRDA so an occasional boat may pass by. The Public does have an easement of 15 ft from waters edge for pulling over and resting. but noone is permitted to stay for extended periods of time. Cabin is located on a paved road into the Country however is only 5 minutes to a Gas Station and only 12 minutes to Tahlequah Walmart and all other various things that the town of Tahlequah has to offer.
