The space This is a traditional Moroccan riad from the 17th century that has been refurbished to blend together both Moroccan architecture and modern architecture to create a more comfortable and familiar living space for our guests whilst also maintaining the medina’s rich history. The bathrooms come equipped with the following complimentary toiletries; soap and shampoo, and a selection of towels can be found in your large fitted wardrobe. The rooms surround our beautiful courtyard which features a bright running fountain and a family of Orange, Grapefruit, Lime and Pomegranate trees nestled in the middle. These attract a family of our neighbouring birds so that you can feel close to nature despite being in the city centre.Directly above our courtyard is a lounge area where you are welcome to relax after a day of exploring the city or even engaging in one of the many out-of-city trips that we can help you plan. Our roof terrace overlooks both the courtyard and offers a breath-taking panoramic view of the city as well as sunbeds for you to relax, read and soak up the sun. As the sun rises you can take in the picturesque view of the Atlas Mountains and our nearest Koutoubia Mosque which calls the city to prayer five times a day. Guest access Guests will have access to share every communal space within the riad except for the kitchen, which is a restricted area to meet with our various health and safety regulations. During your stay Our housekeepers speak Arabic, English and sometime stay's the night in-house to ensure that help is available at any time during your stay. Other things to note The riad is a pet-free zone with the exception of guide dogs. Guests are only permitted to enter the riad if they are accompanying you in your stay. If you wish to smoke, we have designated a smoking area on our terrace to avoid any disruption to our non-smoking guests.
