Shalom at the Lake, Spacious Langley Retreat
Favorite family home for events, retreats, remote work. Many wedding, memorial service, Triathlon, Ragnar have stayed with excellent reviews. Spacious two level home with open kitchen, living, and dining rooms and a half bath upstairs. Three bedrooms, a full and half bath, and a large great room downstairs with billiards and ping pong. Large fenced back yard leads to lake access. Front courtyard and upstairs deck with bbq. Absolutely no parties. This is a quiet family neighborhood. Directly facing Lone lake, this is a 3000 SF family home that has served up to 4 generations living together simultaneously. We are fully equipped for infants to active adults. Please let us know what you need when you book your family here. Please, no animals including service animals. Out of sensitivity to the immunocompromised and severe allergies prevent us from altering this restriction. All common areas available to guests, with the exception locked storage areas and bedrooms that are not reserved in your booking. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, booking two guests opens the master suite, three to four guests opens a second bedroom, and five our more guests gives access to the third private room. Two additional queen size futons will be made up based on your reservation and special requests. Crib and highchairs will be set out for infants and toddlers We try to customize the set up for every group. Breakfast cereals, coffee, and tea are provided. Please advise us about any food allergies in advance. We are on call at all times during your stay. Quiet residential area off a main road. Please respect the privacy and peace of others and keep the noise down if you are a larger group. People tend to retire early and love the quiet of living on the lake. Please avoid outdoor noise after 10pm. Please feel free to unload and enter the house from street address, additional parking is available on the street below if needed (Apollo). You may also unload or reload your cars from the lower level using the sliding glass doors and stairs to Apollo. This house is not handicap accessible due to stairs and sloping back yard down to parking area. Make time for the ferry from Mukilteo if you are coming from the south. The ferry runs every 30 minutes most of the time between 0600-midnight. Please check the ferry schedule online. Please watch for signs at the lake regarding safety for swimming. There is algae growth in the lake that makes it occasionally closed for swimming. Fishing and boating are typically allowed. Views of eagles soaring over the lake are a daily occurrence. Plan to relax and make yourself at home.
