Quiet and Peaceful - Lazy D Getaway

This centrally located 2nd-floor studio apartment with mountain views, a small pond, and a charming old silo. Perfect for a relaxing getaway while staying close to hiking trails, wineries, breweries, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy a private outdoor patio, a twin bed in the main living area, and a double bed in a separate back nook. The apartment also includes a full bath with shower and a small full kitchen. A simple, peaceful home base for exploring beautiful Southwest Virginia. The space The apartment is located near our main home. You will have access to our 6 acres for walking/biking. There is a small pond -catch and release only when seasonally available. Guest access We are located on 6 acres within a neighborhood. Lots of walking/biking opportunities around the property and neighborhood. Large parking areas are accessible if needed--let us know in advance and we can direct you to the spaces. In winter weather, 4wd or Awd may be needed to get in/out of the driveway which is gravel. Other things to note There is to be NO SMOKING of any kind inside or outside of the unit-this includes vapes. Dedicated parking for unit as well as plenty of space for boats, rv/camper or other toys you may have. We have very friendly chickens that often free range so you may come across them during your stay as well as a dog who likes to say hello! We have Verizon cell phones and service is fine. There is high speed internet via Comcast. Visitors (other than those on the reservations) need to be pre-approved. As this is our home property, we need to be made aware of other people who may be coming by the unit.
