This semi-detached house with swimming pool and large garden is located in the small village of Rogovici on the west coast of Istria, halfway between Novigrad and Poreć. Casa Vela is perfectly suited for couples, elderly people and families who want to enjoy their holidays far away from the tourist hustle and and yet be in the blink of an eye in some of the most popular Mediterranean cities. The surrounding countryside of vineyards and olive trees is perfect for cycling The space Family-friendly house with amenities such as 42-inch Smart TV, Netflix access with children's menu, Wii console & X-Box, very fast Internet and board games for rainy but cozy days inside. Enclosed, private parking for one car on the premises. Two cars in front of the property. The large terrace overlooks the front garden and our two palm trees. A perfect dining area or a chill-out area. In the back garden there is also a heated outdoor shower surrounded by greenery - perfect for those who like to shower in nature. There is also a veranda with table and chairs under our ancient olive trees overlooking olive groves and vineyards to enjoy the barbeque. You are welcome to cool off in our heated private pool or use the deckchairs to sunbathe in complete privacy. The ground floor consists of a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The living room on the ground floor has a large, comfortable sofa and a Smart TV with a very fast (500Mb) optical Internet connection and game consoles. The kitchen/dining area has an oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, fridge and freezer and is well equipped with basic supplies such as coffee, tea, olive oil and spices. On the ground floor there is a washing machine. The upper floor can be reached via our jungle staircase and consists of a bathroom, a master bedroom, a medium-sized and a small bedroom and a sweet little balcony, whose special charm is the unrestricted sea view. The upstairs bathroom has a spacious whirlpool bathtub and is equipped with shampoo, soap, towels and a hairdryer. The large bedroom has a double bed (160 cm wide) and a large wardrobe. The middle bedroom has a double bed (180 cm wide), also a large wardrobe, while the other smaller bedroom has a single bed (which can be converted into a 160 cm double bed). The smallest room has storage space. The two large rooms have access to the upper balcony, which offers a sunset with sea view. Wooden shutters for all doors and windows. We have mosquito nets attached to some windows and doors. It would be advantageous to open only these windows. We also offer various mosquito repellents: from electronics to smoke coils. Guest access The guests will have access to the entire house (120 sq. meters) and the entire garden ( front & back 400 sq.) including the Pool ; there is no one else living on the premises. The house is to be entered from a garage (wheelchair accessible) where you can keep your own stuff like bikes, etc. Other things to note Those who love the Mediterranean will also love Istria. Novigrad, Porec, Vrsar and Rovinj are beautiful villages on the west coast, Groznjan and Motovun are the highlights in the interior and Opatija, a good 100 km away on the east coast, was the Mediterranean holiday resort of the Austrian nobility, the architecture there is correspondingly pompous. The sea is clean and clear, because there is hardly any industry on the peninsula, even animal husbandry is hardly practiced, which is why the landscape is not dominated by maize fields, but by olive trees and vines. The next small village with bakery, restaurants and cafes is Tar, about 2 km away.
