Private home set in a beautiful, peaceful location on Graham Lake in Ellsworth, ME. See water on 3 sides of the property. This home is just 35 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Get away to a quiet cottage free from interruptions! The space See water on three sides of the property and listen to the loons each night as they swim past. Soak in the silence or take the short trip to town to enjoy great dining and shopping. The town of Ellsworth sponsors family events throughout the summer and The Grand Theatre has live entertainment on a regular basis. Our home is just 35 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Graham Lake is a dammed lake, so there will be varying water levels throughout the summer months. The lake tends to be at its lowest later in the summer into September, and at its highest during the spring/early summer. We recently installed a seasonal dock and when the water level is at its higher point the water will come close to the wooden stairs. At its lowest, the dock will be out of the water completely (as shown in pictures), however it still provides a flat surface for sitting in the sun or to fish. The cottage interior has recently been updated. The modern kitchen has everything you need. There is a lovely wooden dining table to enjoy your fare or step out onto the expansive deck to relax and relish your meal. It is bright and airy throughout. Heat is available for those chilly nights. The deck offers spectacular views of the woodlands and lake. There is also a resident Bald Eagle in the front tree! Upstairs in the main bedroom, we have a king-sized bed. Once upstairs you will walk through the main bedroom into the second bedroom which has 2 twin-sized beds. Downstairs in the main living space we have a full-sized sofa bed that can be used to sleep an additional 2 people. The water at Osprey Point is potable. Limited to email/phone, to no interaction. This cottage off of a quiet dirt road with a few neighbors. Canoe rentals are available. This service will drop off a canoe for your length of stay and you can explore all the lake has to offer! Pets are allowed to stay, however there will be an additional $75 fee. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home during their stay. Other things to note It is recommended if renting our home during the colder months, that you have a 4-wheel drive. The dirt road leading to our home can be difficult for low riding vehicles during those times.
