Description
'Domus Quartus' is Latin for "Fourth Home." This is not just a place to sleep, but to cook, invite guests for meals, wash and dry your clothes, to have a party (by negotiation) or simply to chill out. Easy walking distance to the centre of Gisborne, in striking distance of Melbourne, Ballarat, Bendigo, Castlemaine, Daylesford, Sunbury and everywhere between. Shuttle to Tullamarine, and short distance to rail. A great base for work or holiday! The space You will have privacy in your bedroom. You will have your own key to your room and a key to the back door. Entry is by that door. Other spaces may be shared by other guests (laundry, kitchinette, bathroom, toilet, sitting room, front/back yards. Should you wish for more privacy, the entire space (half my home) may be booked for up to 6 people on my listing 'Domus Secundus' Guest access You may access your bedroom, the sitting room, the toilet, kitchenette, laundry, rear courtyard, front verandah and garden. All these spaces will be private to you except for the laundry, the courtyard and front garden and verandah, which you will share with me. The half of the house in which I live is self-contained, except for washing machine and dryer. During your stay I will be available at most times, but lead an active life. I will be out from time to time. However, my timetable is flexible. There is a good chance that I will be able to offer help when needed. Other things to note Gisborne is very well supplied with restaurants and cafes. Special amongst these is "Jeds", but there is excellent eating all over...Indian, Chinese, Thai, Lebanese, fish-and-Chips and even McDonalds. My favourite is the Kaffeine Bar in Aitken St....Mmmm those vegan pancakes!!! 29 eating places altogether, but many more within a half-hour drive...Woodend, Kyneton, Macedon, Mt. Macedon.
