Our 2 EcoPods are set amongst gardens overlooking our Persimmon orchard and are close to nature walks, tramping, mountain biking tracks, safe swimming and surf beaches. Town is only 8 minutes drive away. A great place as a base to tour the Coromandel. We have a comfy beds, peacefulness and typical Kiwi Hospitality.Please note the cost is $60.00 p.p. per night. Includes self catered breakfast options. Please note WiFi does not reach the pods or kitchenette. You will need your own data. The space My husband Russell and I have lived at our property for 40 years. We invite you to share our piece of paradise with us. If you are a group of 4 travellers, see our other pod listed as Kauri View! Each pod has their own heater in case it is cold outside! (or fan in Summer) We enjoy meeting travellers and offering genuine Kiwi hospitality. Our unique EcoPods have their own tea and coffee making facilities and guests will enjoy the comfort of their outdoor space. You have a short walk to the shared guest facilities. (Not in our private home) Persimmon season in our orchard runs from the end of May to July. Come and enjoy them!! Guest access Guests share a kitchenette that is well equipped with a fridge, a twin hot plate crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle and washing up facilities. (The kitchenette is 50 paces from your pod) The shared shower room has power points for hairdryers and shavers. It is lockable. Towels are provided for your convenience. There is a separate toilet with a hand basin. Also lockable. Other things to note Please note that after more than 1 guest, there will be charge of $60 NZD per person, per night.
