Rosher's Nest- 8 min stroll to village and water

Park and walk, only 8 minutes walk from the Metung Village, perfect place for sunset strolls around Bancroft Bay and Lake King. Rosher's Nest is a special place for couples or small families. The open fireplaces creates a cozy place to curl up with a book and a glass of red wine during winter. Summers will have you walking down to the Metung Jetty for a swim, watch out as there's always a chance you might see a dolphin. The space Rosher's Nest is furnished and styled to a coastal hampton's theme. Recently renovated, the home is cosy and comfortable for two couples or small families. Wake up to the smell of fresh baked bread wafting through the house. We have a bread maker for guests to use as well as everything you need to make the bread. Throw it all in the bread maker the night before, set it to 9-13 hrs depending on how much of a sleep in you'd like and presto - fresh bread! We also supply locally sourced products from Tambo Valley Honey, Tambo Gourmet Raspberry Jam and Gippsland Jersey Butter to melt over your freshly made bread. Delicious! The house has two bedrooms the master suite with a king size bed and top of the range bed linen with a mattress like sleeping on a cloud! The room has a private ensuite with toilet, shower and vanity. There are doors that open onto the front verandah. The perfect place to sit outside with a coffee and listen to the birds in the morning. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with equally as comfortable luxurious bedding to ensure the most comfortable nights sleep. The room has large windows allowing for a lot of light and faces out on to the side of the house. The family bathroom contains a bath, shower and double vanity stocked with local soaps and shampoos to enjoy during your stay. The toilet is separate and contains its own handbasin. No need to bring towels these will be supplied for your stay. The bathrooms are stocked with locally sourced products, including shampoo, conditioner and soaps. The lounge room with 3 seater couch and 2 armchairs are styled around the fireplace with a 55 inch smart TV wall mounted in the corner. An 6 seater dining table completes the large living area. A split system is also provided with options for both heating and cooling. Heating is provided in the bedroom however leaving the hall doorway open gets the heat moving through the house. Hot water bottles are provide for a toasty sleep. The large kitchen contains stand alone oven for those that like to cook, a double sided fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher to make cleaning up afterwards a breeze. A full laundry with washer and dryer is provided for your convenience along with laundry washing detergent. There is a 4 burner BBQ located under the car port at the rear of the property. Please leave the BBQ just as you found it. Guest access Guests have access all areas stated above, the third bedroom will be closed off throughout your stay. Other things to note The driveway can be a little tricky to navigate on first arrival as we share a driveway with our neighbours. Fully instructions and photos are provided prior to arrival. Once you navigate it for the first time, you'll quite enjoy the house as it's set back off the street and shielded by passing traffic.
