This comfortable four bedroom, two bathroom family home caters for up to 12 guests and is the perfect place to relax in summer or winter in Lorne. The house is elevated enough to enjoy ocean views, but without the steep walk that often comes with those views. Wildlife abounds with kookaburras, parrots, cockatoos and many other birds visiting regularly and the odd koala and kangaroo stopping in from time to time. Apologies, we do not accept schoolies bookings or any party groups. The space The home offers four bedrooms which include: one with a king bed, (cannot be separated); a second with a queen bed; a third with a queen/king single tri-bunk plus a mattress that can be pulled out from under the bunk; and the fourth has a queen bed and double bed in 'the Den' which is on the lower level of the property with its own massive lounge, tv and bar fridge (note this room has no internal access to the main house and no toilet. It is best suited to teenagers and adults who are happy to access the facilities in the main part of the house from the stairs and front door or the path around to the side entrance where there is easy access to a toilet and shower). The large open plan living space upstairs has something for everyone - relax in the reading/ TV nook overlooking the forest, sink into the comfy couch in front of the wood fire or simply take in the ocean views from the sun room (you can see the iconic Lorne Pier and Pacific Hotel lit up at night!). The children can stretch out on the carpet or play games at the table in the sun room, and there is even a desk and computer screen for those that need to work or study - there's loads of room! The kitchen has been stocked with everything you need to cook up a culinary storm and the long dining table seats 10 -12, so entertaining is a breeze. Outside, take your pick from the gardens overlooking the forest at the front of the property, the afternoon sun on the back lawn, or the ocean views and BBQ on the deck.
