Quiet Home near Ark Encounter and Creation Museum

Make all your wishes come true in this beautiful handcrafted home. Decorated with amazing antiques, come sample a taste of Kentucky life. Surrounded by country, but close enough to drive to all the interesting places, only 40 minutes from Cincinnati and the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Only 1 1/2 hours to the Whiskey Trail and Kentucky Horse Farms. Surrounded by only nature, you can go back in time. The space This house was hand built by my brother and decorated with years of love by my mother. Everything you need to feel at home. From a waffle iron to coffee maker, this could be your new home away from home. Set in the middle of an 80 acres forest, peacefulness is all you will hear, unless you encounter the occasional deer or turkey. Set high on top of a hill, during the fall, the view overlooks the Licking River. There are some stairs to enter the home, as well as a steep staircase to both bedrooms and with all the antiques, this residence is not suitable for small children. Please note there are no window coverings. This house in located in the middle of a forest. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, except the basement, where supplies are kept. Other things to note This is meant to be a peaceful retreat for you to come and relax. There are plenty of books, games and TV. Please let us know if you prefer not to have them. There is an oven, microwave and coffee maker, but no toaster. We own a cafe in the local town that offers fresh bakery goods and delicious foods Thursday- Sunday 7-2 and dinner on Fridays 5-7. There are also fast food restaurants within a ten minute drive. There is everything you need to prepare your own lunch or dinner, as long as you provide the groceries.
