Description
‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. We also have another listing, ‘Stablau’r Esgob’ which may be of interest. The space The ‘beudy’/ cowshed adjoins our farmhouse but feels completely separate. We respect your privacy and our guests have full, undisturbed use of the ‘beudy’ and it’s two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and lounge area. There is also a little ‘tŷ golchi’/ utility room for guests to use, this is shared with the guests in the converted stable opposite. There is also a shared garden space. The beudy retains some of its original features such as the little hay window used to pass hay from the barn to feed the cows in the through parlour. Guest access Public footpaths run through our fields and lead to the village shop and post office. Other things to note We do not allow pets indoors.
