Charming, traditional family holiday home. Originally a family home, this has been a treasured holiday home for our extended family & friends since our grandparents emigrated to Australia in the 1950s. The house is in the heart of the village of Camporovere, a few metres from all amenities. It is built in the traditional style to be comfortable in both summer and winter weather. We recently renovated and hope the house will be enjoyed by both new & regular visitors to the Altopiano di Asiago. The space The house is on three floors and is around 100 square meters (1076 sq ft) in size. The ground floor contains a newly fitted kitchen with breakfast counter, and a comfortable lounge room with sitting and dining areas. The first floor contains a bathroom, two double bedrooms (one can be used as a twin/ two single beds) and a laundry. On the second floor is a large, recently renovated attic bedroom with a new en-suite shower room. The house is well suited to a family. Other things to note The house is located in the heart of a traditional mountain village, with fresh bread from the panificio (bakery), a cafe/shop and a quality, inexpensive pizzeria and bar all less than a minutes walk away. We particularly recommend our house for beginners or families skiing in winter, and walkers or cyclists in summer. For guests with young families, we have made available a travel cot, stair gates and high chair, as well as a well-stocked toy box. Our overseas guests usually combine this very affordable stay with a visit to Veneto tourist destinations such Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, or wine tours in Valdobbiadene. Towels and bed linens (quilts etc) are provided. Please note - due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
