Our home is a bright and cozy house situated in a quiet, suburban area. Here, you will find several traditional Swiss farm houses with scenic paths leading to the Wohlen lake, or forests. You can even swim in the Aare river - if you can brave the cold water. Nearby, you have access to a grocery store (Landi), a Burelädeli (local farmer's store), and a bus station 2 minutes away, taking you directly by Bus to the station Bern in 22min. The highway is easily accessible too, only 8 minutes away. The space If you are seeking a place to stay for work, relax after exploring surrounding areas or Bern itself, this is a fantastic place to return to. While you have your own private room with a bed that has an electronically adjustable headrest and a desk, you are also welcome to make use of the shared living room, the veranda and the garden. If you enjoy fruits, we have in summer in our garden a selection of pears, grapes, blueberries, black berries, raspberries and 4 different species of apples - all ready for the picking depending on the season! In the hot days/nights of summer, there’s a fan to keep you cool. In winter, the heaters and the chimney oven keep you warm; while in the kitchen, the various teas available will warm your belly! However, please note that cooking is not allowed in the kitchen. Guest access The kitchen is available for tea and coffee. Please note that no cooking is allowed in the kitchen. But you may use the microwave oven to heat up your food. The living room, garden and veranda are awaiting your presence as well! If you are coming by car, a parking space for your vehicle will be available. During your stay We are open to give you tips or answer any questions you may have. Other things to note No smoking so please keep this outside of our property. No washing of clothes after 10 pm. No shoes allowed in the living space in the house as it is our tradition. No cooking allowed in the kitchen. There is a microwave oven for you to heat up your food.
