DOUBLE ROOM in BEAUTIFUL shared house!

Share this beautiful, huge house and enjoy a cool, shady private, fully furnished double bedroom. You can enjoy your own privacy and share lots of communal living space with friendly housemates. There is a large indoor area to relax, watch movies, do yoga etc. There is also a spacious kitchen with full cooking facilities, dining room and a lovely outdoor terrace surrounded by tropical plants. The house is located in a local Thai neighborhood, 15 mins bicycle ride to the Old City. The space The double room available on the ground floor is fully furnished with a queen sized bed with under the bed storage drawers (includes bed-linen, towels etc) a range of cool black shelving and hanging space for clothes. There is also a very stylish all-glass desk for working/studying etc. The room has a floor fan but no a/c. The room does stay naturally cooler than all the other rooms in the house due to being shaded and on the ground floor. The rest of the ground floor is communal and open to use, including a fully fitted kitchen with 2 large fridge freezers and everything you could need to cook with. There is also a large dining area, and a wide hallway leading to another large indoor space (perfect for relaxing, yoga, etc) and a large outdoor terrace with table, chairs, hammock and many hanging plants to clean the air and add to the ambience. We have a weekly cleaner, who comes every week and cleans the whole house. She is a friendly Thai woman, with okay English and a good sense of humour. We have clean, filtered drinking water on tap. No need for plastic bottles of water! Guest access You can access all downstairs areas! From the spacious kitchen all the way through the large dining area, wide hallway to the large communal living space, which leads outside to the covered, shady terraced area. During your stay I live here too, but am often away, travelling in India, Japan, or back to Europe. I am from the UK. Other things to note You will be sharing the communal areas of the house with 3 others usually, as there are 3 more bedrooms upstairs. At the moment, they are all long-tern renters who live and work in Chiangmai. They can help you settle in and answer any questions you have about the house, the local neighbourhood, and Chiangmai in general.
