Beamed Suite & Governess Room

The Beamed Suite & Governess Room provide a spacious family area with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small living area. It is decorated in a quirky art deco style and has two stained glass windows created by the local artist Rebecca Oliver. The tower bedroom has a Queen sized bed and views to the valley. The Governess has a double bed and there is a sofa bed in the living area. We can add a single bed or cot to the Governess bedroom. The space The Beamed Suite is a spacious room decorated in deco style, with a living area (with a sofa bed). The bedroom is in the round tower and offers great views. The living area benefits from the exposed structure of heavy oak beams, giving the room its character. The loo is in the smaller turret. Château Ribagnac was built in 1580 and has been lovingly restored. We can provide sumptuous evening meals or just B&B. The rooms are all different with their own character, but all have lovely bright bathrooms. We have a mixture of antiques and quirky pieces with amazing fireplaces to snuggle up in front of in the Winter. The atmosphere is friendly not stuffy, and the grounds are beautiful and spacious (86 acres!). We aim to make you feel at home while you experience a bit of history and style of times gone by.... We are easy to get to from Paris (only three hours and you breathe easy and enjoy the sound of birds and tranquility of the countryside). If you enjoy cities too, then we're about 20 minutes from historic Limoges. Families are welcome (we have a great playarea) and couples will relax in the Honeymoon Suite or with a good bottle of wine from our cellar. We have double rooms, family rooms or you can rent the whole Chateau. Discounts are available off season or for groups. Guest access There is a spacious living room where you can socialise with other guests and a guest tea room where you can store picnic things and make a hot drink. During your stay Social drinks and starlight evenings... Other things to note We provide breakfast and you can book tables d'hotes (early dinners provided for children too) we can cater for vegetarians and food allergies. Bookings for dinner must be made in advance, please. Dinner is not served on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Guests can picnic in the grounds - we have rugs etc you can borrow.
